Britain's leader is expected to urge partner nations to deliver Ukraine with further long-range missiles to target Russian targets during talks in the UK capital on this Friday.

Britain's leader is set to welcome Ukrainian President Zelensky alongside what's known as "coalition of the willing", comprising more than 20 of Ukraine's allies who have pledged to grant Ukraine security guarantees once a ceasefire is brokered.

The Ukrainian leader has been urging for several weeks for further advanced missile technology from the West, an action that Moscow has stated would escalate the hostilities.

President Zelensky is coming from the EU capital, where he conferred with EU leaders on Thursday requesting funding aid.
